Congratulations to all who ran Six Foot on the weekend. The race was won by HuRTS mountain goat Tony Fattorini who brought his outstanding recent form (Melbourne Marathon, Kepler etc) to win the much hyped 2013 edition of the race, which was considered to have the most competitive male field in years. Tony has written a race report which you can read here
In addition to Tony’s win HuRTs won the team award for the first time with great contributions from Chris Truscott, Ben O’Brien, Jono Worswick, Macca McClarnon (on debut) and Marc Person – Outstanding guys!
Well done also to Glen Saur, Marty Rooke and Rob Costello on excellent sub 4:30 runs.
Special mention to Chris Graham (who forgot to enter the HuRTS team by the look of it) running 2 seconds over 4 hours on a gun time but scraping under 4 hours on a net time. Good luck convincing The Chairman about that one Chris!
